Applying for 2018 Enrolment

Applications for 2018 will be considered on a case by case basis, as and when they are received.  To apply for Enrolment please contact our Enrolments Officer – enrolments@mtcarmel.school.nz

Applying for 2019 Enrolment

Applications for 2019 are now open and will remain open until the last day of September 2018. To request an Enrolment Pack please contact our Enrolments Officer – enrolments@mtcarmel.school.nz.  Once we have received and reviewed your application we may be able to give you an ‘Indication of Enrolment’ within a short period of time with a formal ‘Offer of Enrolment’ made during October 2018. If you are offered a place for your child we will ask you to confirm your acceptance or decline the place within 14 days of receiving the offer.

Applying for 2020 Enrolment

Applications for 2020 open in February 2019. Please contact us early in 2019 to request an Enrolment Pack.

Information for Parents of New Entrants

Cohort Entry Policy

Please note, after consultation with our community it has been decided Mt Carmel will adopt a Cohort Entry Policy for 2018

Orientation Sessions

When your child has been accepted to enrol at Mt Carmel School you and your child will be invited to attend an Orientation Session just before they are due to start school – we will write to you when the date of this session has been confirmed.  If you are unable to attend the session we recommend you have a read through our Parent Information Book to familiarise yourself with our routines and policies.

Start Date

If your child is turning 5 during the school year we will write to you to confirm their start date as soon as it has been confirmed. Please note we are often unable to set a start date immediately upon confirmation of your child’s enrolment but we will let you know the date as soon as we can. Start dates are always on a Monday and are held on the first day of each term.
