As part to the Mountain to Sea programme, our Year 5 and 6 students visited St Heliers Beach. They had a great day snorkeling, carrying out investigations and exploring the shoreline. Thank you to the parents who came along to help.
The Christmas festivities have continued with the Year 2 and 3’s putting on a special performance of the Christmas story, recounting the Birth of Jesus. The children joyfully sung Christmas Carols and and even had a visit from Santa Claus and Rudolph! Well done Yr 2 & 3!
Our Year 0 & 1 students put on a fabulous show telling the story of the Nativity and singing some festive songs to get us all in the Christmas spirit. Well done to our littlest students and their teachers for putting on such a heartwarming performance!
November 1st is All Saints Day, a feast day observing the lives of the many saints for whom there is no specific feast day during the year. At Mt Carmel the children dressed up as their favourite Saint.
Taking advantage of the latest Mt Carmel RUBIK Cube craze, the senior school decided to hold a Rubik cube speed challenge. The winner who solved the puzzle in an incredibly fast 14 seconds was Jackson Priscott.

Last term our senior students took part in EPro8 – a problem solving challenge promoting science, engineering and teamwork skills. The students had a great time working together on an activity to build a structure using the materials provided.
We had a fantastic turn out this week at a Special Mass celebrating Grandparents and important older family members/friends.
