On the first day of Term 1 we welcomed 29 new children to Mt Carmel School – we managed to catch a photo of most of them as they turned up with their families to wish them well on their first day here.

Last week our performing Kapa Haka Group, who have been practicing diligently over the past few weeks, performed at the Remuera Library.
We raised $573 for the Child Cancer Foundation this Wednesday – thank you to all those who participated (we saw some FANTASTIC wigs) and to those who donated to this very worthwhile cause.
Our Year 5 children had fun this week harvesting the pumpkins from our School Garden and preparing them to be turned into Pumpkin Soup.
