Sports Afternoon 2020
Fortunately, the weather remained fine for the children to enjoy a fun afternoon of sports games, followed by a refreshing ice-block. The children were very excited to be able to participate in a variety of activities which included 3-legged race, Dodge Ball, Rob-the-nest and an Obstacle Course.
Pink Shirt Day 2020
Mt Carmel celebrated Pink Shirt Day again this year. This is an occasion that encourages positive relationships and safe environments. The children enjoyed the mufti day, and reflected on the importance of respect and being kind to each other.

Fairy Houses for our Enchanted Garden
At the end of last term we invited our senior students to build a Fairy House for our Enchanted Garden. The suggestions were that the houses were to be made primarily from wood, weather proof and constructed at home with the help of parents and family. Take a look at their fabulous creations…
St Patrick’s Mufti Day 2020
Mt Carmel Students got into spirit of St Patrick’s Day by dressing up in Green and donating a gold coin for our Mufti Day to raise money for Caritas New Zealand.

Mairangi Bay Trip 2020
Our Year 4 and 5 students each spent a day at Mairangi Bay Surf Lifesaving Club learning about Surf Safety with the lifeguards there. The students had lots of fun ‘saving’ each other using rescue tubes and on the boogie boards.
Top Schools 2020
