The children were very excited to be dressed in green to celebrate this Saints day. They loved participating in the activities such as a potato race and a ceili in the hall at lunchtime.
The junior children had a fantastic time taking part in their house sports day and were very excited to be able to participate in a variety of activities which included running races, 3-legged race, beam bag throwing, duck n spatula race and an Obstacle Course.
As part of the Christmas festivities, the Junior School Celebrated the Feast of St Nicholas by taking part in the Sinterklaas tradition. The senior children had great fun taking part in the senior house sports day. They displayed great team spirit and it was great to see their values supporting one another as a “Mt Carmel kid”.
