Did you know a seagull can drink saltwater as it has special glands to filter out the salt? Or that we each use an average of 180 litres of water per day? That’s just two of the fun facts that the presenter from Watercare shared with our classes during their experiment sessions in Term 1. The children saw first hand the optical illusions that water creates when you look through it and they applied their learning to discover the reasons for these weird and wonderful changes.
