Kea Spotlight Term 2 20024
June 26, 2024

The Kea class loved listening to the story of Maui and the Fish.
This famous myth tells us about Maui, a boy who uses a magic fishhook to go fishing and accidentally catches New Zealand’s North Island, also known as Te Ika-a-Māui.
The Kea students were fascinated by this myth and were eager to create awesome art using different techniques and materials to represent the North Island and the waka that journeyed the seas.
Wishing you all a very Happy Matariki as we all take this time to reflect on the past year, celebrate the present, and plan for the year ahead.
With love,
The Kea class
