2020 Top Schools Registration

PLEASE NOTE WE ARE CURRENTLY FULL FOR THE Y5/Y6 TEAMS - ANY FURTHER FORMS SUBMITTED WILL BE PUT ON OUR WAITLIST.  WE STILL HAVE A FEW PLACES LEFT FOR THE Y3/4 TEAMS. (16th Feb)

Sunday 1 March 2020 (no rain day), approx 9.15am - 3pm. Churchill Park School, Kinsale Avenue, Glendowie

This is a day of fun competition between Primary Schools in the Auckland East area.  Everyone has a sensational day out with excellent opportunities to have great fun in a team. The events are: Wobbly Wheels, Slippery Slide, Sponge Fun, Gumboot Throw, Ski Run, Mine Field, Newspaper Delivery and Husky Run.

Teams consist of 10 children.  Division 1 teams are Years 3 & 4. Division 2 teams are Years 5 & 6.  Parents must remain with their child/children on the day – this is not a drop-off event.  Please note Teams must have at least one Parent Volunteer to be the Coach/Manager and take responsibility for the team on the day as there will be no Teachers accompanying the children.

If your child would like to register to participate in a team please complete the online form below. Children will be allocated to teams in the order they register and we are limited to 2 teams per division so get in quick to avoid disappointment.  If we are unable to accommodate your child in a team we will email you to let you know and place them on a waitlist for a space.

The teams will not be announced until a few days before the event  - Thursday 27th February, this helps us to avoid any last minute changes with sick children etc.  We will endeavour to ensure that children are in a team with a classmate/friend but please note we are unable to ‘group’ all friends together as teams will consist of a mix of year levels and genders.  We feel these teams provide a great opportunity for our children to learn to co-operate with ‘new’ friends.  We appreciate your understanding and support with this.

Food and drink is available from Churchill Park School PTA and Rotary club members.

Please leave dogs at home on the day.

The event is smoke free and is run by the Rotary Club of Auckland East Inc.
