Visit from Auckland Beekeeping Club 2024

On Thursday, we had Ken Brown come into school to talk about bees.  Ken is the President of the Auckland Beekeepers Club and his knowledge about bees is vast.  He spoke to the children about the history of bees, their life-cycle, their special adaptations and much more.  It was great to get someone who is so knowledgeable about the subject to talk to the children. I am sure the children can share with you some interesting bee facts.  Ken emailed me after he had been to school saying that he enjoyed talking to the children and they had very interesting questions for him to answer.
