News from Room 8 - Mrs Cheryl Hill
Room 8 have had a busy Term 1 to start the school year. We did some great learning when we had to explain to others how to stay safe on the beach. We all chose different ways to
do this poems, posters and plays. We also looked at personal safety and how to stay safe when we are on our own. This led to a very exciting visit from the Police Dog Handlers. We ended the term with our school jubilee and had a great time finding out about the history of our
school.
Room 8 have been exploring bubbles in Term 2 and we have been experimenting making our own bubbles and deciding what makes the best bubbles. The Science Van will be visiting in Week 4 to tell us even more and hopefully to
help us devise our own experiments about bubbles. We will be using this knowledge to make our own bubble blower later in the term.
